GPT PM Recruiter: Your First Interview

I decided to try something new and created a custom ChatGPT chatbot to help you ace your first product management interview.

How to use it:

Start by providing a URL of a job description or select one of the suggested products.
The chatbot will pretend to be a recruiter and go through common, random questions, such as experience, situation-based questions, and motivation.
You can ask to skip a question or restart the interview anytime.
After finalizing the interview, you will receive open, detailed feedback and suggestions on what to improve.

What I particularly liked is that you can use a native ChatGPT mobile app to participate in an interview in voice-only mode - no typing.

Start the interview by clicking “Hello!”
You can use your voice to answer after installing a free Chrome extension: Voice Control for ChatGPT x Mia A

Install ChatGPT for Android (Google Play) or ChatGPT for iOS (App Store).
In the menu, click “Explore GTPs” and find “GPT PM Recruiter” by The Product Compass:
Start the conversation by clicking “Hello!” or click a headphones icon to start a voice-only interview

If you want to assess your voice tone, filler words, confidence, etc., consider installing a free trial of Poised in addition to the web version of GPT PM Recruiter. I’m not an affiliate.
You can use GPT PM Recruiter without a paid ChatGPT subscription, though the number of messages will be limited.
This is beta. It does make mistakes, but according to my tests, it seems reliable enough.
In particular, it sometimes struggles with randomizing questions within categories but starts randomly assigning them around the third question. I'm running additional tests to improve it. I also expect it will further improve with GPT-5.
I’d love your feedback. It will help me understand whether to continue with different interview types (e.g., “Product Sense”).
